Habilitation services prepare individuals with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the community by developing functional skills and behavior alternative strategies. This service provides skill development in self-care, communication, socialization, physical and emotional expression, cognitive functioning, as well as problem solving, pre-vocational skills and support participating in leisure activities.
